Delete Your Account

Request deletion of your Biz Yangu account

You can ask us to permanently delete your Biz Yangu account and the business data linked to it at any time. You do not need the app installed to do this.

Option 1: In the app

1. Open Biz Yangu and sign in as the business owner.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Tap Request account deletion and confirm.

Option 2: Without the app

Send us a message with your registered phone number and your business name, so we can confirm it is you:

What happens next

1. We confirm the request is from you. We may reply on WhatsApp or call the registered number.
2. We permanently delete your account and data within 30 days of confirming.
3. We let you know when it is done.

What is deleted

• Your account and business profile
• Products and stock history
• Sales and credit records
• Your customers’ details that you added
• Invoices
• Staff access details
• Support messages

What we may keep

Subscription payment records (M-Pesa references and amounts) may be kept for as long as the law requires for accounting and tax purposes. Copies in our providers’ routine backups may remain for a limited time before they are overwritten.

Before you delete

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Download any invoices or reports you want to keep first. Simply stopping your subscription or uninstalling the app does not delete your data.
